GREAT INTEREST IN THE CONCERT IN COOPERATION WITH THE MUNICIPALITY OF KARATAY AND THE WRITERS UNION OF TURKEY IN KONYA

Santoor Artist Sedat Anar met art lovers in Konya with the concert "Songs with Santoor from Tabriz to Konya" organized in cooperation with the Karatay Municipality and the Konya Branch of the Writers Union of Turkey. While Sedat Anar included his compositions from his album, he almost enchanted the people of Konya with the works he played with santoor, tambourine and jura, which identified with him.

Sedat Anar, the master of santoor and instrumental music, performed the concert " Songs with Santoor from Tabriz to Konya " in cooperation with Karatay Municipality and the Konya Branch of the Writers Union of Turkey.

Santoor Artist Sedat Anar, accompanied by his qanun-like instrument of Iranian origin, the Santoor, gave the music lovers of Konya emotional moments at the concert at the Mevlana Cultural Center. Sedat Anar took the music lovers on a unique journey in our hearts with Tambourine and Santoor in this unique and unforgettable concert, which attracted great attention from the people of Konya.

In his speech after the concert, Ahmet Köseoğlu, Head of the Konya Branch of the Writers Union of Turkey, thanked the artist Sedat Anar and the people of Konya who came to watch the concert.

Ahmet Köseoğlu stated that the greater part of the hall consisted of women and young people and said, “I want to thank all my Konya brothers and sisters who showed interest in the concert. I also congratulate Sedat Anar, Damla Anar, and Selahattin Anar.”

Karatay Deputy Mayor Şaban Önal said: “I sincerely thank all our fellow citizens for their participation in the concert organized with the cooperation of the Turkish Writers Union Konya Branch and our municipality. We needed such nice organizations to get rid of the stress and intensity of daily life. Indeed, it was an event that delighted us. I want to take this opportunity to thank our artist brothers and sisters.”

Şaban Önal, the Karatay Deputy Mayor,  Ahmet Köseoğlu, Head of the Konya Branch of the Writers Union of Turkey, and Mehmet Genç, the Karatay District Head of the Justice and Development Party (AK Party), presented flowers and various gifts to the artists Sedat Anar, Damla Anar, and Selahattin Anar. Artist Sedat Anar also autographed his books for the people of Konya who came to watch the concert.
